Transferring to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ is affordable, fast, and easy. We have two pathways for transferring to ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµâ€”as a traditional undergraduate student or as a degree-completion student.

Undergraduate transfer

  • Primarily daytime classes
  • Fall and spring semester classes, plus summer session
  • Primarily on-campus in Chicago
  • Transfer 12–60 credits
  • In-demand majors and pre-professional tracks

Degree Completion

  • Primarily online and evening classes
  • Seven-week class schedule with meetings just one night a week
  • Accelerated programs
  • Transfer 12–90 credits
  • Six bachelor’s programs offered by the School of Professional Studies (SPS)

Transfer credits


To earn a bachelor’s degree at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ, you need at least 120 semester hours, with your final 30 completed at ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ.

Your undergraduate recruiter will review your transcripts to see what credits transfer toward the Core Curriculum and your major.

ÃÛÌÒÊÓÆµ has transfer agreements with many Chicagoland community colleges. Check with your recruiter or transfer advisor to see if one applies.

Submit official transcripts from all schools when you apply. You’ll receive a Transfer Credit Evaluation showing which credits are accepted and what requirements remain.

Transfer credits allowed:

  • Up to 60 hours from two-year colleges
  • Up to 90 hours from four-year schools

Credit for prior learning is also available through the School of Professional Studies.
